Lakeville Motor Express

As many may recall, 95 hardworking Teamsters at Lakeville Motor Express (LME) were locked out by LME’s owners, the Wilsey’s, just three days before Thanksgiving in 2016. On the evening of May 3, 2017, LME Teamsters showed up in force at Local 120 to hear President Tom Erickson address the recent proposal from the Department of Labor to settle the wage theft that the Wilsey’s have denied the hardworking men and women of LME, which includes wages and any unused vacation and sick time, along with penalty pay. In President Erickson’s communication to the members, he reiterated that “LME owes every single member the wages, sick and vacation time that have been rightfully earned. We will not go away until this company recognizes the contract they agreed to or until LME/FLE is out of business for good!”
